but this gives me a 'command not found' error.  Apt-file search suggests it
is in the cryptsetup package, which I have.  Trying to run
/lib/cryptsetup/checks/vol_id
results in:
'WARNING: vol_id is not available, impossible to run checks'

Is this an fstab man page bug?
