Problem with Fritz!WLAN USB Stick N

Hi!

After the last update/upgrade for Ubuntu 10.04 it now works on one machine.
But on the other machine, I can work on the wlan1-Interface for about 
5-10 Minutes. Then all lights are out on the stick and I get the 
following in /var/log/messages :

This is repeated as often as you like ... :(

The machine is an old AMD Athlon with 1.1 USB. Perhaps this is the 
problem, but I don't know.
