Ubuntu One not working on my Karmic system

Hi All,

I converted my friend from Windows Vista to Ubuntu Karmic and created a
company template in Open Office so that he could create consistent invoices.
I also advice him to print to PDF and use the PDF version as the invoice as
his original, so that an accidental change in his ODF file does not mess up
his invoices.

I also talked about maintaining a backup and mentionned Ubuntu One. He is
interested but since I never used Ubuntu One I am trying it out on my Ubuntu
system. I created an account on Launchpad and installed the
ubuntuone-gnome-client. I copied a couple of PDFs to the Ubuntu One dir and
checked on the site for the presence of files. Nothing, still nothing after
3 days during which I pressed the connect buttons several times in as well
the UbuntuOne client as in nautilus.

I checked the ubuntu wiki pages and I should get a browser page when I click
the connect button, but this does not happen. What can I be doing wrong?
