Unfortunately, I have to correct you here. It's VERY professional. Most
marketing, sales, business development professionals include all / most
of their contact details in their .sig, and sometimes the company logo
in a bitmap. My company actually has templates for all employees with
such signatures including bitmaps. We are ASKED to use them in e-mail.
The you have the "legalese" that sometimes gets automatically added
which says that the mail is company confidential blah blah blah.
So... It's completely professional.
But completely un-geeky. And not suited to pay-per-byte connexions that
used to be in place last century (and, I understand, still in place in
some areas on the planet).
He's just doing what the majority does... not what the minority still wants.
