Rhythmbox problem

Problem: Rhythmbox has suddenly stopped being able to play from a
(radio) network stream. It had been able to play previously, but
stopped. I think the problem occurred when I had rhythmbox running,
but not playing anything while I was playing something on youtube.

I've tried these URLs, and they both fail:

Both streams work fine with VLC. Rhythmbox works with at least some
of my music collection formats. I can play podcasts OK.

I always start rhythmbox from a terminal window. Here are the error
messages in the terminal window that I get when trying to play either

I also get a popup: Couldn't start playback
A text/uri-list decoder plugin is required to play this stream, but
not installed.

New additional error message that I get just starting rhythmbox.
