Depends on what you need.

Personally I need gapless playback (especially when many files are a
medley, when played back in the roght order) and I failed that with
Amarok, and Rhythmsbox, but Songbird did the job perfectly. Later I
found that there is a setting in Rhythmbox that seems to make gapless
playback possible. Possibly there is something similar in Amarok, but
once I tried Songbird I was happy with it.
