buying a printer

We have the P1505n at work and I have tried to connect it directly to
my Eee PC with Ubuntu 9.10 via USB and it worked perfectly. Didn't
need to install anything, it just worked. I haven't tried any other
ways to connect it, though.

I tried the same thing with Mandriva Linux Free 2009.1, but I couldn't
get it to work… that's one of the few reasons why I abandoned
Mandriva… Maybe the 2010 version is better, but who cares? This is an
Ubuntu mail list…
