Best Music player

Songbird is a good music player, similar to iTunes in its UI, but
unless you have a fast PC it can be a bit sluggish.  Its built from
the code-base of Mozilla and uses the Gecko rendering engine.

I use Rhythmbox in my Ubuntu install for audio and VLC for video
because it supports a lot of video formats internally.  VLC is also a
fairly good DVD player for Linux.
