Chrome in Karmic facilitates access to irksome sites

Hi!

Intel and AMD are the same... Just that Intel is usually used to refer 
to 32 bit architectures and AMD to 64 bit architectures.

Pick a 32 bit .deb if you are running Ubuntu in 32 bit (aka Intel) mode...
Pick a 64 bit .deb if you are running Ubuntu in 64 bit (aka AMD) mode...

But... don't worry about Intel / AMD... the important thing is 32 vs 
64... regardless of the processor brand.
