Xorg often taking a lot of CPU, whole system slow

Have you ever considered using the latest SM browser either the 32 or 64
bit as your case may be. FF always seemed bulky and slow to me.
I use 64 bit karmic so if you do to, be sure to install the 64 bit SM
from the Mozilla site. The 32 bit SM browser would work but not the
plugins and NoOp had to consult an Australian expert on SM to get the
solution. Top when running SM doesn't have anything as high as 10%
cpu usage and mostly below 3-4%. FF must have memory leaks or is just
buggy. HTH,
