	I didn't call you stupid, I said using tar to back up your 
computer is. I think I tried that first when using Fedora 
which didn't have rsync then. It worked. But it was hard to 
use a a backup.

	Today we have big hard drives so compacting a backup is not 
necessary. But it used to be.
