Black menus in Thunderbird on ReMix 9.10

There was an update of Thunderbird to 2.0.0.23 on ReMix 9.10.

Several of the menus, (like context contact addresses menu that lists
possible email addresses as typed,) are black background with black
text, (they used to be black text on grey background.)

Several new installs of the Thunderbird configuration did not
alleviate the problem.

Any ideas?
