No tray icon with Pidgin on 9.10

Ok, I went ahead and installed Pidgin to test it out. On your 'Buddy
List' go to Tools>Preferences and on the preferences window that
opens, under the 'Interface' tab should be the option 'Show System
Tray Icon'. Set that to Always, and you're good to go :)
