Could you post the output produced in /var/log/syslog when you scan
for networks and attempt to connect to your AP. Either edit the output
down to just the relevant output or post the file on paste-bin and
procide a link - don't want to have the entire file posted to the
entire list.
Additionally, are you use wicd or network-manager to make the connection?
