DSL Support in Ubuntu 9.10 (AEI Canada)

Ubuntu-Users:

I am having problems with the DSL Support within Ubuntu 9.10, it fails to 
connected to my DSL Provider (AEI - Canada).  Although Ubuntu 8.04's 
Network Manager lacks DSL Support, I am able to connect to AEI from the 
Live CDs for Ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04!!!  Hence it appears to be a problem 
specific to Ubuntu 9.10...  Any Ideas???

NOTE: The DSL Modem is an OvisLink OV303R2
