Please don't attempt to advertise companies on here. Grossly impolite,
regardless of whether you are a "Proud Indian" or not. I know that
what really happned here is that you entered the "lucky referrer
competition" they are running and permitted them to scrape your Gmail
address book and thereby sign up this mailing list to increase your
chances of winning some electrical goods...

Sent by a listserver at contestjd.com (that'll be contest-just-dial no doubt).

To our mailing list...

Supposedly from you....

Shameful, Dhiraj... permitting some crappy little company to spam this
mailing list with shite, purporting to be from you.

However, let's assume I don't know this and you really did generate
the email you sent.

1. Don't use HTML on this list.
2. Don't advertise piss-pot little companies on this list
3. Don't use HTML on this list. Really.
4. Please don't sign this list up for advertising campaigns by
piss-pot little companies.
5. See that bit about the HTML a few lines above?
6. Be a proud Indian and don't, under any circumstances, permit
piss-pot little companies to scrape you Gmail address book and spam
everyone it in with mail supposedly from you.
7. Don't forget the HTML bit. Oh, and trim extraneous text from
replies and quote inline if you can.
