I use SM Mail and News via gmane linux ubuntu users subscription and 
alway just hit reply as I always do to reply to list mail.  I think you 
sent me a similar response before.  Maybe something wrong on your end. 
Otherwise, I have no idea why you get a direct copy.  I did see my reply 
on gmane.
