pop up windows in firefox(shiretoko)

hi all

i am using ubuntu 9.04 and firefox 3.0.16 and also have shiretoko 3.5.6
whernever i open a link which opens another window i can see the window
comes up but no contents are loaded.
for example the youtube option of poping out a video in a new window or
poping out a chat into a new window opens the window but does not load
content(the window is blank).

if any one knows a solution to this issue kindly share it.
