You should also tail the /var/log/syslog of your router, because at this 
moment it is not clear if the pc nic crashes, or the router. I suspect 
that it is the router, see my previous reply.

I leave it as an exercise for the reader to tail any logfile of a remote 
device. You will at least need custom linux-based firmware for the router.
