I looked and none of the OO apps has quickstart checked. Under
system-->preferences there is a Startup Applications entry. I checked
it and nothing related to OO seems to be there. It seems to be ( for
lack of a better term) high level, there must be something lower down
that starts these processes. Unfortunately I haven't used Ubuntu long
enough to know what it is.
