Hi all !
Ive installed this printer following
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HardwareSupportComponentsPrinters/CanonPrinters/Canon_LBP_2900

and printing works under some conditions, in fact, I get funny usb bugs.

Explanation of the procedure :

I do ccpd stop then ccpd start anytime I open a session for
printing.

Then, I have to unplug my usb mouse; it will print a few seconds
later. and if not, I have to stop and restart ccpd again.

Does it make any sense to anyone here ?
I run ubuntu 8.04
