Let me give you a hint if you have not got one already from other posts. 
Redhat Linux (long gone now) installation would give you the choice to 
do a Server, Desktop or Custom installation. The first two were really 
just a standard set of groups of packages. The third let you cherry pick 
packages/groups of packages.

If one left anything out, one could always install those packages from 
the network later on. I sincerely hope that you are not a system 
administrator but a developer working on a development station and there 
is somebody else who actually maintains the server or you are a hobbyist 
or are learning. At this moment, you have a lot to learn if you intend 
to or are actually running a server.
