I've not tried OpenBox, but Fluxbox is lovely. Not something I'd turn
to for a pretty interface (though it is possible, it's more effort than
I'm willing to put in), it's very lightweight and easy to configure
(through text files). It's a bit non-intuitive at first, though.

I gather Enlightenment is what's used to make the *Boxes pretty.
