Long term support, the version of Ubuntu that doesn't get outdated
rapidly. Between LTS releases the releases have shorter life cycles
and get de-supported eventually. Next release, 10.04 will be an other
LTS and that's in a couple of months so don't rush to upgrade if you
have a server system. Otherwise you're up for a lengthy upgrade path.
