Partitioner does not show partitions

Hrmmm... couldn't find much through a cursory search, but I'm also at
work and really don't have time...
HOWEVER, I did find this:

Which says this:

That's a windows related issue, however, just for kicks, check the
BIOS settings and change the SATA mode to IDE and see if that gets you
going...
