Why is the file /bin/false so large?

I was going to make the same point.
On my system here /bin/sh is a sym link to /bin/bash, which is 776K ....
OK, this system is SLC5 and not ubuntu, but I sure its not that different...
I'm also not sure what the concern is over the size of /bin/false, but
I'm willing to bet those that know best have made it as optimal as
possible, and fiddling will only cause problems...
