You do, of course realize that that does not tell you if a printer
driver exists.  It only tells you if a printer driver exists ON THAT
MACHINE as part of the installed group of drivers.

I imagine the OP is looking for something specific for his printer, a
Canon Pixma M500,and I imagine he's already tried it the easy way. Now
he's looking for a driver file that he can download somewhere.

I can appreciate your enthusiasm Karl and I thank you for your
attempts to help resolve this issue.
