How to Wubi Install Ubuntu in VGA mode?

You've posted this twice...

Perhaps if you provide the details regarding you machine (other than
"Compaq Presario" of which there must be hundreds of different models
today), and the details of the issue you are having, someone can help.

It will also be most helpful if you can provide information as to
whether you've been trying to install via the 8.04 liveCD and/or the
8.04 Alternate CD. I've found that on older systems, the Alternate CD
works every time, whereas the liveCD's tend to fail.
