How to search Launchpad for available PPAs?

In addition to the other good advise; when you are in launchpad on a
particular package (digikam for example):

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/digikam
scroll down and you will see a dropdown for:
"Other versions of 'digikam' in untrusted archives. "
and a link "You can also search for  more untrusted versions of
'digikam'. " That last link will take you to the general ppa search:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=digikam
