Xorg often taking a lot of CPU, whole system slow

In any case, I have Flashblock installed and there is no Flash content
when the issue occurs, I just tested it for a few days to be sure
(hence late reply).

Yes. This is actually Kubuntu, and I have the problem even when the
Kwin Composting is disabled. Compiz is not installed.
