For me, that is the only way to go. The kubuntu end-of-things just
seemed to be shot fulla holes, but installing Ubuntu, and then the KDE
desktop has been satisfactory for me. Especially with pulse issues with
kubuntu. I like KDE, as long as it's on top of Ubuntu basic
