First, please don't top post.

Second, go to www.download.com and download a copy of Paragon Backup.

Third, clone your disk in case something goes wrong.

Fourth, boot into a Linux live cd and use gparted (or ntfsresize, which
is the command line that gparted will execute) to increase the size of
your windows partition.

Fifth, reboot into ntfs with no worries (since you have a clone), and
run chkdsk /f /r and reboot. Twice.

Finally, enjoy the rest of your holidays knowing that, although
ntfsresize did move all of your windows data safely and you didn't need
that clone, that clone is always there in case something else goes
wrong. (Or in case you want to easily convert it to a virtual machine.)
