Trying to open a folder opens Brasero instead

Hi,

My system started to behave strangely today. When I try to open a folder
from the panel or the Places menu, Brasero disc burning program opens
instead (to the "New data project" window, suggesting to burn the folder
in question). Opening a folder that's placed on the desktop works
normally. 

The problem probably started, when I started Brasero to with the
intention to burn an ISO file to disk (this is a guess based only on
timing). I also may have run out of disk space for a short period around
that time. I started Brasero by selecting "open with" with the second
mouse button, but didn't burn the file after all.

I'm thinking that I accidentally might have tried to burn a mounted
disk. I have no idea though, if this could cause trouble like this.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Rebooting the machine didn't help.
