Drawing circuit diagrams

Just about all the hits that brings up are circuit *design* programs,
some of them do have circuit drawing utilities but they're often
oriented towards engineering/design (which if I had my engineering hat
on I might want) but are not set up to make simply drawing a circuit easy.

My initial problem searching (on Google or in Synaptic) was (as I said)
using the word 'circuit' rather than 'schemnatic'.
