Hello

I upgraded my Toshiba Tecra S4 Laptop [1] from 8.04 LTS to 10.04 LTS.
After that, I get kernel panic during boot. The messages on the screen
said something about "kvm". Therefor, I switch the Hardware
virtualisation off in the BIOS. Now, it boots and works fine so far.

But vmware doesn't work anymore. Does anybody now about a problem with
virtualisation and kernel 2.6.23-24-generic?
I would like to use this Laptop with virtualisation on.

I am running the 32bit (x86) version, fully updated.

Thomas
