I suspect that it (9.0.2) will work with the iPhone4, I can't see Apple changing
the storage format again, as it did with iPod touch and iPhone 3.x; They cause
enough grief for their users as it is. If Microsoft uses Collies for their Usability
lab testers (because they like everything), Apple must use blind dogs that can't see
the light of day. If Apple was to make changes in the iPhone 4 that rendered it
icompatible with 9.0.2 and later, they would have to release a new compatible
version of iTunes just to work with it.
As to using a new version, unless Apple has fixed iTunes to run in a
VirtualBox on WindowsXP which I suspect they have elected NOT to fix, the
new version will also crash.
