Shutdown/restart don't work

Hi,

I have made a clean install with Ubuntu 10.04.1 x64, and when I try to
shutdown or restart by clicking on the name applet on the right, it does
nothing, as if I did not perform the command.

However if I press the power button, it shuts down normally as
configured, and if I press ctrl-alt-delete in a console, it reboots
normally.

Anyone having solved this issue?
