I use Linux since 6 years, thank you, and I administrated a couple of 
Debian and Gentoo systems in the time. The problem is not me seeing them 
-they amuse me, so it's fine. The problem is that less knowledgeable 
people can fall for the wrong information that the dude spits out. This 
reduces the usability of the list as a help for users. It *is* an actual 
problem and it should be sorted out.
