Seeing as how my 10.04 is upgraded almost on a daily basis, I have been 
running 10.04.1 for several days now - and the sky hasn't fallen down 
:-) . (In fact nothing has collapsed in any way, shape, or form since I 
installed 10.04 itself last April.)

Don't be a wimp. Install 10.04.1.
