Many thanks for this, NoOp - I've downloaded the CD.

But I have a couple of questions:

1) can I assume that my 10.04 installation has now been automatically
upgraded to 10.04.1 via the normal Update Manager route?; and

2) is there any place where it shows which version of Ubuntu I am
running? I mean, I know that I am running 10.04 (at least) 'cause I
installed it, but I cannot see anywhere where it shows that this is what
I am running?
