Hi,
The page I'm referring to is
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1491825
The errors are the following.
$ ed tmp.rb
tmp.rb: No such file or directory
a
require 'rubygems'
require 'wx'
include 'wx'
.
w

q
$ ruby1.8 tmp.rb

directory - /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/wxruby-2.0.1-x86-linux/lib/wxruby2.so

I also got other types of problems once getting past that, but I reloaded my
system after those because I loaded a bunch of stuff I didn't want. But this
is where I am now.Also I had done apt-get install ruby1.8, rubygems1.8
maybe a couple of others, and finallygem install wxruby
.
The reason I'm leary with doing to much to my system is I'm blind, and it
seems pretty easy to mess up the audio parts of ubuntu in general.
