ubuntu 10.04 use wget with proxy

As usual, didn't get any answer here :-(
Found the solution myself.
The problem is about the System->Preferences->Network Proxy
It seems that the no_proxy environment variable is badly set: it has a
trailing comma (',') that it should not have.
Removing such comma from the environment variable made wget work.
