Q) stuck with a message of configuring sun-java6-jre

 Dear Ubuntu experts,

 I'm trying to install a software called 'eric', but it got stuck at the end
with a message "configuring sun-java6-jre" on the blue screen.
 I can also scroll down and see <0K> on the center bottom, but it seems to
get stuck there and I'm not sure if that was the indication of "success" or
"fail".
 Any help would be appreciated.
