Q) What is this error message (dpkg was interrupted)?

 Dear Ubuntu experts,
 I just converted from Windows to Linux and am trying to install a software
called eclipse.
 But I seem to fail to install this software and when I try to install again
after rebooting,
 I received the following error message:

 E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a'
to correct the problem.


 Does anybody help me how to resolve this issue?
