Learning Regex (Was: Is it just me, or is there a reason for it?)

         This assumes your writing code. I looked at the man page. Regex 
is loaded with Ubuntu 10.04 it appears so we all have it.  I have not 
learned to use regex because I do not write much code any more. Never 
did make a living doing code.
