Firefox version 3.6.8 on Ubuntu 10.04

     I was not happy when Amazon.com figured out how to take over my 
Firefox without me doing a thing! I just brought up Firefox to check the 
financial news and could not. The entire screen was full of Amazon.com 
sale items =-O

     I finally by accident I got the Amazon crud to retreat to the edges 
of the screen. This morning I decided to find out how to get rid of 
Amazon. I checked a lot of things but then tried Tools-Add-ons and there 
on top was the Amazon add-on :-)

     It was easy to delete Amazon.com complete from Firefox. I wonder 
how they got the darn add-on onto my Firefox?
