Has something happened to Ubuntu repositories?

This morning I went to check for upgrades and the Update Manager shows
me that it cannot access some repositories - which were perfectly
accessible yesterday, and nothing has been altered on this system.

I looked at a couple of the respos which are now unavaiable and they are:

http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ lucid/partner Translation-en_AU and

http://pa.launchpad.net/c-korn/vlc/ubuntu/ lucid/main Translation-en_AU

and there were a few more.

Entering these URLs manually in Firefox produces Error 404.

I noticed that 10.04.1 was supposed to have been released yesterday but
this has now been delayed until early next week (17th Aug).

Is there a connection with this in that somehow pointers to the repos
have been stuffed up? Only guessing as I don't know how these work.
