No. I was curious that turning KMS on resolved your problem. Generally
it is the other way around 'radeon.modeset=0' rather than
'radeon.modeset=1'. So I was curious how you came about turning it on &
thought that perhaps you may have gotten the suggestion from one of the
bug reports.
