[OT] Ubuntu technical discussion lists

Can anyone recommend any mailing lists that are a good place to be for
Ubuntu technical discussions without the stroppy teenagers?
I'm a happy desktop user, but am always keen to hear the occasional
nugget that will add a bit of knowledge, but recently on this list the
signal:noise ratio is getting unacceptable, and I'm spending more time
adding people to my kill file than reading posts :-/

I'm happy to take recommendations for new resources offlist.
