Well, if you mean by "some time ago" something which I mentioned
recently (as sometime in the past several years) occurred 20 years ago
then - YES :-) .
A lady posted a public message on a local Bulletin Board that she and
her husband were going away for the weekend. On the Saturday afternoon a
van arrived at their place and they were burgled: all the choice
computer bits were stolen and the 'buglers' only left the "undesirable"
computer bits behind (they knew their computer equipment). The
neighbours saw all this but as the couple didn't tell the neighbours
that they were going away for the weekend and to "look after the place"
the neighbours thought that it was, well, all natural-like and nothing
to worry about......
